ARE YOU A YOUNG MUSICIAN WITH ASPIRATIONS TO MAKE A CAREER IN MUSIC?
If the answer is yes, Hereford Police Male Choir want to hear from you, as you are on their Wanted List as a candidate for the choir’s prestigious Young Musician’s Bursary, worth £1000.The second and third musicians also receive a financial prize.

To be a candidate you must be aged 14 to 22, living in Herefordshire or
Worcestershire. Your application, or a request for information, should be sent to Alison Houlbrooke, musical director of the choir: aehoulbrooke@gmail.com.
Include the following details: name, age, address, e-mail, telephone no., musical experience, qualifications and the name and email address of your music tutor. Also indicate how you would use the bursary to help achieve your musical or singing ambitions.
A shortlist will be selected by an independent panel and invited to take part in adjudications, including individual performances and interviews at Holy Trinity Church, Whitecross, Hereford on April 27th, 2019.
The bursary was established to mark the Police Choir’s 50th anniversary in 2007 is sponsored by the Becket Bulmer Fund (managed by Herefordshire Community Foundation). The winner will also be invited to perform at the choir’s annual concert on July 13th, 2019.
